The King’s Oscars

Carolyn Managh —

A round up of the King’s Celebration Assemblies recognising impressive academic achievements in 2024.

King’s is big on publicly celebrating successes, achievements and excellence. Why? It’s more than being incredibly proud of our students and the teachers who helped them develop such exceptional skills and exceed expectations. Numerous studies, including from Harvard, have proven that celebrating achievements boosts morale and stimulates dopamine (happiness) release in the brains of the entire team (or school in our case).

This could partially explain why King’s is such a happy place, and potentially why, each year, the number of young men achieving impressive results gets bigger and bigger.

As such, over the last few weeks, we celebrated 177 students across a series of King’s Celebration Assemblies.
