Year 13 Food and Nutrition class at Manaaki Restaurant
On Wednesday night four outstanding young men from the Year 13 Food and Nutrition class along with Mrs Gilmore attended a dinner at the Manaaki Restaurant.
It was hosted by the Year 1 Bachelor of Culinary Arts ākonga. They showcased all the positive things happening in the food world at the moment, with a particular focus on celebrating contemporary kai practices and local food producers from the Otago Farmer’s Market. They enjoyed a selection of bread and dips, salmon served with a hazelnut pasta, gnocchi with a creamy chickpea sauce followed by cupcakes and chocolates.
