The Year 12 Earth and Space Science class has put together an aquarium to simulate the environment found in the Central Pacific Ocean.

We invite you to come by B8 sometime and have a look. You will notice that, just like the Central Pacific, our aquarium is filled with plastic and devoid of most life.

This demonstration is part of our study on Marine Plastic and how it is affecting humans and the food we eat. We have been thinking about how we use plastic and looking for ways to reduce the amount of single-use plastic in our daily lives.
