Week 7 (Term 4) Touch Rugby

Dan Koni —

Congratulations to The Royals, a combined King’s and Queen’s Junior Touch Rugby team.

Junior Secondary Schools Mixed Touch Results

The Royals, a combined King’s and Queen’s junior Touch team that was invited to a Mixed Touch Tournament over the weekend (Saturday 27th November) at Bishopcourt.

With our two schools already working with each other in other areas of schooling such as curriculum and culture, it was a great opportunity to unite and compete in a sporting event.

The combined side eventually won the Mixed Junior section but the final score did not come without its hiccups!

Congratulations to the team and their coaches, Mr Henri Mitchell-Collie & Mr Olly Bugden.

Thanks to Mrs Stumbles from Queen's, and Mr Vaitupu for the hot food BBQ, at lunch.

This is certainly a relationship we would like to continue with Queen's, hopefully, we can do this again at both senior and junior levels in 2022.
