Tennis ball run activity

This tennis ball run is our final practical for the year. 

Mr Boswell suggested this idea during class as a way to learn about gravitational potential energy and kinetic energy. During class we researched for some ideas by looking at YouTube videos who had the longest video. We used these ideas and Mrs Marsh gave us ways to make the ball go slower as well. After that we were given plumbing pipes (the same number as 10TP) and some guys planned what ways to make it slower. We started making the marble run, some guys worked up above and some worked on making more additions to the marble run with rulers. 

This has been fun because we are competing against 10TP and fun to see the class build it and their ideas to make it slower.
