The annual "make a stalagmite with supersaturated sodium ethanoate" competition was held yesterday.

The winner Alex van der Weerden was encouraged and supported by Riley Smith and Sam Ryan. Some of the runners up are also featured; Corey Symon, Will Scharpf and Liam Hewson.

Also, following the awarding of the University of Otago Inter-school Trophy last term, it seemed only right to test it! Epic!!
