Good wins from the seniors playing with a bit more ball security and care. Great defence reads from our wingers on the back of some yardage smarts up the middle, particularly in G2 and G3, resulted in tries during transitions. Leadership was instrumental and un-selfish plays inspired team efforts.

Great performance from the juniors, a mixture of mostly Year 9s sprinkled with some Year 10s. A good core group of year 9s this year ensures strong senior players in years to come. Some players (O.Tuhega-Vaitupu and V.Palu) managed to play both junior and senior games.

Metro Secondary Schools' Touch (Tues 19thFebruary)

· Mohoao Kingi drew to JMCG 9B , 8-8

· Hukarere Kingi defeated Bayfield, 11-2

· Tiaki-hā Kingi defeated OBHS Hooper, 4-0

· Rēpara Kingi defeated OBHS Hall, 9-3
