Your elected Student Trustee for 2022.

The election for the 2022 Student Trustee was held in September. It was a very tight race this year with only a handful of votes in it, (20 to be exact). The closest race for many years. 70% of school voted, well done to the students who took part!

Congratulations to John Warman who continues as the Board of Trustees, Student Trustee for the 2022/2023 year. This will give John the opportunity to see some of his projects through to fruition as well as continue being part of the team that has a pivotal role in the leadership and management of the school.

I want to acknowledge Angus Noone. It takes a lot to put yourself out there and be part of the process. George E Woodberry said,

“Defeat is not the worst of failures. Not to have tried is the true failure”.

I would like to express my gratitude to the House Deans and Mrs More from the office for their help. It takes a team to make sure students get the opportunity to take part in their democratic right, to vote.
