Queen's Checkmate:

Massimo Pezzuto —

King's High School's Prefect Netball team stumbles upon victory, crowned Supreme Rulers of the Court!

In an animated matchup between the prefects of King's High School and our sister school Queen's High School, our Netball skills emerged, victorious by the narrowest of margins, prevailing 19-18. With a combination of comradery and a stroke of luck, King's powered through until the final whistle. All players exhibited a creative approach to the game, showcasing their prowess. While every player performed admirably, a few standout performers truly shone.

Despite occasional doubts surrounding our defence, we stood tall and held our ground. Ultimately, it was a hugely successful game for King's, with the scoreboard reflecting our hard-fought triumph, and Queen's, who displayed their skills during the game, which were nothing short of extraordinary, dazzling both the crowd and opponents alike.

Both prefect teams showed strong values of participation and compassion while also being hyped and adrenalised. We sincerely thank Mr White for his unwavering support and enthusiastic cheering from the sidelines, which undoubtedly bolstered our spirits throughout the game. Lastly, a big shoutout to Queen's for being excellent hosts of the electrifying Netball showdown.
