Both Karne Gabbott and Lewis Murphy give it 100% at the Surfing New Zealand's Under 18 age group series.

At the Billabong Grom Series, Pres By Oceabridge, Event 3, Piha, Karne Gabbott made the Under 16 semi-finals and Lewis Murphy made the Under 16 quarter-finals.
