Kia ora. We’re back and glad to be. Talking to boys over the last two days, this return’s a welcome change; a chance to catch up with mates and to get back to learning in person, with restarting of some co-curricular activities too. 

King’s has come through Level 3 and 4 lockdown pretty well. The boys and staff did superb work over the last few weeks to stay in touch with each other, to keep learning happening, and to advance in NCEA realistically. 

We have 7 school weeks to go before Seniors leave and with this good opportunity to finish strongly. While some of the boys were a bit bleary-eyed on return (8.30 am possibly being quite a shock to the system) they’re rapidly getting back into it all. 

Thank you for your support, encouraging your son as he completed schoolwork at home - whether a Senior or Junior. 

There may be other times in future when we must go back to the virtual version of King's. We'll be ready if it’s needed.
