University of Otago Scholarships: 

Applications for Scholarships at Otago University are now open. Applications close on 15th August.

University of Otago Virtual Open Day: 

The University of Otago is hosting Virtual Open Day on Thursday 29 July from 3:30 to 7:30pm. You’ll find virtually everything you need to know about living and learning at Otago in our virtual expo hall:

• Peek inside and explore each of our 14 residential colleges

• See the Dunedin campus for yourself – take a virtual campus tour

• Learn about scholarships and other key services available to students

• Check out over 100 short presentations from academic programmes and courses

• Tune into the Virtual Open Day LIVE segment to hear about life at Otago from those who know it best – our students.

Staff will also be on hand throughout the event to answer your questions via live chat.

This is an excellent opportunity for students and parents to interact with the University of Otago and learn more about course options, scholarships, accommodation and other services available at Otago. You can register to attend by following this link: Register to attend Virtual Open Day

University of Canterbury Scholarships

Applications for Scholarships at the University of Canterbury are now open. Applications close on 16th August. More information on the scholarships available and the application process can be found here: https://www.canterbury.ac.nz/get-started/scholarships/.

The University of Canterbury will be holding Webinars from the 12th-23rd July about Scholarships and Scholarship applications (note that these are during the school holidays). Dates and times are as follows:

  • Monday 12 July 4.00pm
  • Tuesday 13 July 10.00am
  • Thursday 15 July 4.00pm
  • Friday 16 July 10.00am
  • Monday 19 July 4.00pm
  • Friday 23 July 4.00pm

Victoria University Scholarships

Applications for Scholarships at Victoria University are now open. Applications close on 1st September. More information on the scholarships available and the application process can be found here: https://www.wgtn.ac.nz/scholarships/types-of-scholarships/undergraduate/school-leaver.

Otago Polytech Enrolments: 

Enrolments for study in 2022 are now open for Otago Polytech. Some courses will fill up fast, so it is better to apply sooner rather than later to secure a place. Applications can be made via the Otago Polytech website (https://www.op.ac.nz/apply/). If you are unsure about the enrolment process or have any questions, please feel free to come to the Careers Office for a chat.

New Zealand School of Tourism: 

NZST are holding an Open Week 19th-23rd July, with tours at 10am, 2pm and 4pm. They are based at 8 Moray Place. If you would like more information, head to their website: https://nzschooloftourism.co.nz/about-us/nzst-open-days/

Other Institute Open Days: 

For Institutes other than Otago University and Polytech, Open Days (both virtual and on Campus) are currently scheduled as follows. This will be updated as more dates come to hand.
