Book Week – Starts Monday

Purpose: To promote the library, books and reading.

Who: A Book Gang and Library team initiative.

What: Displays and activities based on a daily theme. Competitions, challenges, quizzes, prizes…and books!!

Where: Library – throughout the week.

What's on:

Murderous Monday: A murder mystery/who dunnit. You be the detective…will you solve the mystery?

Tasty Tuesday: Recipes and food provided by FNU. A Baking Competition - judged and shared.

Wordly Wednesday: An international flavour. Where in the world do you come from? Let’s put King’s on the map!! Come and learn a language or two! Kahoot is based on geographical knowledge and concepts.

Thriving Thursday: Environmental and well-being. Enviro Club Forum and Mindfulness.

Fictional Friday: Literary Quiz- House Competition.

Lunchtime in the library:

• Let’s Judge a Book by its Cover - vote
• Random Acts of Reading Rewards
• Guess the Top 10 Titles at King’s
• Points are awarded for participation in the Great Escape activities.

Canteen vouchers are up for grabs and major prizes for the top five point scoring students.
