Tuesday evening witnessed Alex MacDonald's win of an Excellence Award for his Photography during the Otago Secondary Schools Celebrate Art Awards held at the Dunedin School of Art. Amongst the other Otago Secondary schools, ten students from King's High School comprising of five photographers and five painters, were showcasing their art in the Dunedin School of Art Gallery. The calibre of their creations was outstanding. 

Alex's work explores the juxtaposition between the serenity and tranquility of nature and the hustle and bustle of urban city life.
