Improving the nutritional value of meals

This week students made burgers with six different vegetables and red kidney beans in the patties.

As part of the King's Men Programme, 9Ea trialed new recipes. The learning objectives for the lessons were to improve the nutritional value of meals, to increase the amount of vegetables in a typical kiwi dish, to cook vegetarian meals and to try new grains and lentils. 

The feedback from 9Ea has been positive.
