Tertiary Institute Visits

Visits from Tertiary Institutes continue this term. The following visits are currently scheduled:

  • University of Canterbury – Tuesday 5th April, 10am, location L1. Please note that this will be a VIRTUAL presentation
  • Lincoln University – Thursday 7th April; 1pm at Queen's High School (students who are interested in attending this presentation need to register their interest with Mrs Campbell in the Careers Office or email careers@kingshigh.scoool.nz to signal your interest
  • Otago Polytech (Year 13 Students) – Monday 11th April; 9am in the PAC. Students must pre-register their intentions to attend by signing up on the sheet on the Careers noticeboards in the Library.


University of Canterbury – Discover the Bachelor of Arts

The University of Canterbury is holding a virtual event to learn more about studying Arts. This event will be held on Thursday 28th April, from 9am to 1pm. Students can join from anywhere in Aotearoa to explore more than 25 subjects and 7 specialisations offered through a Bachelor of Arts (BA).

At this event, students will:

  • Learn about the difference between a BA with majors and minors and a specialisation
  • Discover more about the specialisations available
  • Explore subject options and pathways through the courses
  • Hear about possible career pathways
  • Ask our friendly team of advisors, staff and students any pressing questions.
