Head Boy Orlando Tuhega-Vaitupu, Luke Salisbury, Semisi Taungapeau and Apisalome Tudreu received top honours in the TOA Scholarship awards from the Pacific Trust Otago this month.

The Scholarships were monetary in value and has been an annual event that highlights the achievements of Pasifika students in Dunedin. 

It was a definitely a celebration for the school when these Year 13 gentlemen were awarded top honours in the inaugural “Mapusua Leadership Award”, "Mapusua Sports Award” and “S.T.E.M Award” Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics subjects.

Seilala Mapusua is Director of Coaching/Head Coach Manu Samoa at Samoa Rugby Union and had long stints playing for the Highlanders. The Mapusua family have sponsored the Leadership and Sport Awards for Pasifika students in Dunedin.
