Positive results for some of our teams this week and congratulations to three of our 1st Touch Team members.

King’s Boys MVPs in the OTAGO TOUCH Sports Awards

Congratulations to the boys below for receiving awards at the Otago Touch Prizegiving last Friday 8th March.

· Meihana Schooner – picked up Most Valuable Player for the Under 21 Men.

· Taine Hand – MVP for the Under 18 Boy's Team & Best Junior Player

· Angus Cameron – MVP for the Under 16 Boy's Team

All three boys have important roles in the 1st Touch Team so it is fitting to see that their skills are also recognised as the best in the province. 

Metro Secondary Schools' Touch (Tues 12th March)

· Mohoao Kingi defeated OBHS King, 7-3

· Hukarere Kingi lost to JMCG Yr 10

· Tiaki-hā Kingi drew to OHBS Tagg, 6-6

· Rēpara Kingi defeated OBHS Battlers, 9-0

· Whatitiri Kingi lost to OBHS Hawthrone

· Raiona Kingi defeated KVC Blue, 9-6
