Otago University Liaison visit - 2021 Course Planning

Monday 17th August. All sessions will be held in the PAC, and the timetable is as follows:

8.50-9.10 General chat to all boys about the process, key dates etc for remainder of year, general questions etc.

9.10-9.40 Health Sciences (incl HSFY, BioMed etc.)

9.40-10.10 Surveying and Engineering first year

10.10-10.30 Law overview session (all Law students attend and return to appropriate second session later)

10.30-11 Bachelor of Teaching

11-12 Bachelor of Arts (incl Social Work)

12-12.30 break

12.30-1.30 Bachelor of Science/Applied Science

1.30-2.30 Bachelor of Commerce

2.30-3 Music and Performing Arts

Residential Hall Applications

Applications are now open. Applications close on 30th September, but please aim to have your application done by mid-September to allow your CCRF form to be completed.

Otago Polytech

The Liaison Officer will be visiting Kings High School on Thursday 20th August to discuss course options for 2021. Sessions will be in the Williams Room and the schedule is as follows:

9.00-10.00 - Trades - Automotive, Mechanical, Electrical, Carpentry

10.00-10.30 - Engineering Technologies and Quantity Surveying – Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and QS

Hall of Residence Applications

Applications are now open. Applications close 1st October, but please aim to have your application done by mid-September to allow your CCRF form to be completed.

Open Day

We are pleased to confirm that we will be hosting our Open Day on Friday 21st August. Students will have the opportunity to explore study options, tour our campuses and halls, attend sample lectures, and experience student life at the University. In a change from previous years, we will run course planning sessions on Saturday 22 August at our Pipitea campus. Students can register to attend Open Day on our website.

The Defence Force are holding an information evening on Wednesday 19th August at ASB House, 248 Cumberland Street from 5-6pm.

SIT have an Open Day on Friday 28th August.
