Boccia New Zealand proudly promotes and supports the sport amongst all people with physical disabilities.

Boccia is a precision ball sport, similar to bowls and pétanque.  

Connor is a humble medalist and only took up the sport in 2020.  He stated it is "quite challenging to learn how to bowl while sitting down".  

Connor has developed a great technique and is clearly doing well.  He is looking forward to continuing with Boccia when he leaves school and perhaps qualifying for the New Zealand Paralympics team in the future.
