Scholarships for Tertiary Study

Bridget Schaumann —

It is the time of year when students start to think about where they will head after school.

Many of our students will head to Polytech and University courses and students who achieved at high levels in NCEA may be eligible for Scholarships.

On Monday 1st July there will be a Scholarship session at lunchtime in L1. Students interested in applying for Scholarships to any University are advised to come along and glean as much information as possible to help with their applications.

More information about Scholarships is available on the MoneyHub Website. It contains a comprehensive list of many kinds of funding bodies including those who provide funding for Cultural Scholarships and for those in overseas universities.

For many of the Scholarships to tertiary providers, students need to know what papers or courses they intend to do. If students are unsure or have questions they need answers to, they should book an appointment for a careers interview with Ms Schaumann in the Library.
