On Wednesday evening, the King’s 1st XI Football team put together an impressive performance, defeating the Otago Boys' 1st XI, 2-1. Goals were scored by Ben Wood and Jack Caldwell. Man of the Match went to Goalkeeper Adam Dunlop, who was calm and confident throughout the game.

This win puts King’s atop the qualifying table for entry to the National Tournament, with one game still to play against Trinity College next Wednesday. The 1st XI is also now unbeaten in eight games this season and 16 games in total dating back to the end of 2022.
