A very special moment took place last Sunday in our Gillette Cup Semi Final against John McGlashan College.

Year 11 Tyler McCleery was awarded his Cap #551 before the start of play by Ash Barron Cap #369, a former Captain of the King's 1st XI of which included current King's Coach Bradley Scott #389.

Ash has actually coached Tyler at Junior level over a number of years before Tyler started at King's.

It was awesome that Nigel and Karen, his parents,  were there to share this special moment as they have rarely missed a match that Tyler has played in.

In our Quarter final against St Kevin's College, Sasha Gaffikin became Cap #559 and on Sunday, James Marshall became Cap #560.

The final is hopefully being played today against arch rival Otago Boys' High School.
