Students from three senior Drama classes presented work to an appreciative audience of friends and whanau last Thursday night.

In response to parents and caregivers enquiring about the performances their sons / charges had completed in Term 1, Mr McKenzie decided to compile a showcase of pieces and created an evening of beautiful and (sometimes) confronting performances.

Pieces included Year 11 students performing works that they had devised to exemplify ideas and themes of poetry, Year 12s performing excerpts from Children of the Poor by Mervyn Thompson and various scenes from MacBeth by the Year 13 students. 

Congratulations to all boys for putting on such a polished show especially as for many of them, this was the first time they had performed publicly.
