Staff farewelled at Senior Assembly

Jo Harford —

Two staff were farewelled at senior assembly on Thursday, Mr Brewster and Mr Frost or, in the words of Mr Reddiex, the young buck and the elder statesman respectively.

Mr Frost leaves King's after 44 years of service and Mr Brewster, after six.

The speeches were humorous, full of advice and, in the case of Mr Frost, very informative as he spoke about various treasured memories that he has made in the last 44 years.

For many of us, it's difficult to imagine being in one job for 44 years, but for Bryan Frost, he couldn't have achieved all he did for the school unless he had been here this long. The highlight of his time for all staff and students, past and present, will always be the school musicals that he produced, directed and, on one occasion, even wrote.

We wish both staff all the best for their future; they will be missed.

Know that we appreciate all you have given to our school and our students.
