William heads to Parliament
Last Wednesday William Scharpf was at Parliament House in Wellington to Receive his Premier Scholar Award.
He was one of only eleven students in the country to receive this award, which is given to students who receive three or more Outstanding Scholarships in one year. In 2018, as a Year 12 Student, William gained four Outstanding Scholarships in Calculus, Chemistry, Physics and Statistics plus a Scholarship in Biology.
His award was presented to him by the Minister for Education, Chris Hipkins, and later the audience was addressed by the Prime Minister, Jacinda Ardern.
