Accolade for Co-Captain's defence play – Touch Results and Important Dates

Dan Koni —

Congratulations to current King’s 1st Touch Co-Captain, Oscar Cameron. Oscar was rated as one of the best defence players in his NZ U16 Boys Team and had made a big impression in the NZ U18 trials that took place earlier in the year at King’s College in Auckland.

Of the 24 boys selected from around the country Oscar underwent an intensive two days of games, drills, fitness testing and team orientated activities to make the final 16. With the details yet to be released, Oscar will be representing NZ in a Trans-Tasman series and possibly a Southern Hemisphere Cup in May 2023. A fitting selection from another one of King’s finest Touch athletes.
