Itinerant Music Teachers highlight programme in concert to Year 9 classes

Jo Dryden —

On Wednesday King's Year 9 classes attended a concert in the PAC and learnt about the programme and instrument tuition on offer through the Music Department. The Itinerant teachers talked about the instruments and their sounds and demonstrated the type of music they played.

Tuition is offered in Flute, Clarinet, Saxophone, Trumpet, Trombone or Horn, Violin, Viola, Cello, Guitar - electric or acoustic (group lessons) and Bass Guitar (group) through the Itinerant Programme. Many lessons are free of charge but if your son needs to hire an instrument from the school there will be charges. The flyer attached has the fees.
