Otago Polytechnic Course Assistance Day 23rd August

Steph Kerslake from Otago Polytechnic will be in the school Library on Tuesday 23rd August to assist students with their applications for Otago Polytechnic for 2023.

It’s a good idea if you are considering attending Otago Polytechnic next year to apply early in order to ensure a place. The outline for the day is as follows:

9.00-9.30 Pre-trade – Carpentry (Building)

9.30-10.00 Pre-trade – Automotive, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing

10.00-10.30 Engineering Technologies and Quantity Surveying - Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Quantity Surveying

10.30-11.00 Art, Design, Architectural Studies, Digital Media and Photography, Food, Culinary Arts, Hospitality


Interval Drop-ins, document certification


11.25-11.55 Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Social Services, Health Bridging, Sport, Personal Training, Massage Therapy

11.55-12.25 Business, Tourism, IT, Natural Sciences, Stonemasonry, Arboriculture, Apiculture, Sports Turf, Farming, Brewing, Outdoor Adventure, Snowsports, Avalanche Safety, Early Childhood Education


P4/Lunch Drop-ins, document certification


If you are still undecided if you are going to move on to further study or return to school, head along and speak with Steph, and apply. Courses do fill up fast, and leaving your application until January may mean you miss out.
