2020 NZQA Scholarship results were again excellent and we were delighted to receive the news that 17 of our students were collectively awarded 31 Scholarship passes in the NZQA Scholarship Exams that are awarded annually to the top 3% of students nationally.
By definition, an NZQA Scholarship pass places you in the top 3% of students in New Zealand. An Outstanding Scholarship pass places you in the top 0.3%. Depending on the subject, gaining a Scholarship means you are one of perhaps 100-200 students in New Zealand to reach the top level in your subject. An Outstanding Scholarship places you closer to the top 30. It is pleasing to report that the awards were achieved from 16 different subject areas and that 7 of the awards were at the Outstanding Scholarship (in the top 0.3% of eligible students).
