Glen Colquhoun inspires at Dunedin Writers and Readers Festival

Darren Eade —

A Year 10 class from King’s had a special treat on Thursday morning, attending part of the Dunedin Writers and Readers Festival.

Acclaimed poet (and doctor) Glen Colquhoun, used wooden figurines, representing famous and infamous characters in NZ's history, as springboards for storytelling, poetry and song. The depth and breadth of his love for NZ history and NZ stories aligned with his capacity with words, resulted in a truly inspiring and fun hour of talk, laughter and song.
