BMX North Island Titles 2022 raced at the Taupo BMX Club over the weekend. Over 550 riders entered from New Zealand and some riders from Australia.

Cameron raced in the 16 Year Boys Category. There were 16 riders which came down to 15 after a crash in the Sunday warmup took a rider out.

There were six motos with the top eight moving into the finals, Cameron sat 4th overall. The finals was raced as a deadman final.

In the final race there was a massive crash heading into the first corner which Cameron managed to be on the top side of and was able to miss it and came away with first place.
