It's getting busy in the Music Department

Jo Dryden and Kaine Harington —

Instrumental music lessons are now in full swing at King’s. Those who have previously been learning, continue to do so, while new Year 9’s take up the opportunity to learn an instrument while at school.

Lessons are mostly full although we now have one alto saxophone and two clarinets available to take lessons at school. Please see Ms Dryden in Room 26 or email dy@kingshigh.school.nz if you are keen.

Meanwhile, in Music Technology, Kata Moata'ane is working hard at creating an original song towards both his Song Writing and Recording assessments as part of 13MTE. He can be found working away in the King's High School studio control room most days - writing, recording, overdubbing and mixing his sounds until it's perfect.
