Wk 2 (Term 1)

Kensington Oval Men’s (Tues 29th January)

· Kings 1st Touch Team drew to Axemen, 6-6

Touchdowns: O.Tuhega-Vaitupu (2), B.Paku (2), M.Schooner, A.Cameron

Bishopcourt Men’s (Thurs 31stJanuary)

· Kings 1st Touch Team defeated Rusty Cubs, 9-5

Touchdowns: T.Hand (3), J.Davis (2), A.Cameron (2), T.Elisara, V.Palu


Congratulations to King’s boys who will be representing Otago at Junior Touch Nationals this weekend (Feb 8-10th) in Rotorua.

IMPORTANT TOUCH INFORMATION AND DATES:

METRO TOUCH ALL boys who wish to play touch on Tuesdays after school at the Kensington Oval for King’s, need to sign up in room 26 at interval or lunchtime next week (Monday 11th Feb). Games commence on Tuesday 19th Feb from 4-5:30pm depending on the draw. See Mr Koni if there are any problems.


Touch Sports Performance Program & Trials– All junior students that wish to be considered for the Academies must have signed up in room 26. First training begins this Monday & Wednesday.


Year 9 Touch Academy – Mon 11th Feb, period 3

Year 10 Touch Academy – Wed 13th Feb, period 3d

All boys are to meet at Room 26 at the beginning of P3 with their gear. See Mr Koni in Room 26 asap if you had not yet signed up, but wish to be considered for 2019.

· Southland Boys Inter-school Mon 18th February

· Metro Schools Secondary Touch Competition begins on Tuesday 19th February at      Kingsington Oval

· Otago Secondary Schools Tournament 23rd February at Bishopcourt in Dunedin

· Opens Touch Nationals 1st– 3rd March in Rotorua

· South Island Secondary Schools Tournament 23rd-24th March in Christchurch.
