Cursey Adie-Cropley —

ETCO (who offer Electrical Apprenticeships) have a new Level 3 Foundation course that is aimed at those who would like to be an Electrician but haven’t quite met the pre-requisites.

To apply for the course, students must have achieved Level 1 (with a preference, strong-ish in Maths). The course is 3 days a week for 40 weeks (a year) and is a mix of theory and practical. It can lead into an apprenticeship at the end of the course (with ETCO) and is some of the theory work required for the apprenticeship. It is fee-free.

There is a course starting on 28 September for anyone who might be interested, and another course will not be run until September 2021.

If you would like more information about the course, head to ETCO’s website (https://www.etco.co.nz/training-courses/electrical-trade-foundation-course).
