Omathlon is the premier Mathematics event held at the Edgar Centre and run by the Otago Mathematics Association. There were 210 teams competing, from all over Otago, ranging from Year 4 to Year 10. 

King's Year 9 team (photograph above) came 2nd after a tense, three-way tie breaker for first. The Year 10 team (photograph below) gained a credible 3rd place in a tight match.

The senior teams came 2nd and 3rd in the Senior Division, held last week at Logan Park High School (Years 11–13 in mixed teams of three or four).
