Week 1 (Term 4)

Kensington Oval Men's (Tuesday 16th October)

· King's 1st Touch Team defeated Hard Yards, 9-3

IMPORTANT TOUCH DATES:

· Touch Sports Performance Programme – Has started this week. Please check the notices on the window of Room 26, for meeting and training times.

· King's Junior 1st and Senior 1st Touch Teams All training for these teams have started this week. Check the notices on the window of room 26.

· Metro Touch Competition - Begins next Tuesday 23rd October. All boys who were in a team during Term 1 will be in the same team in Term 4.  Any issues, please see Mr Koni in Room 26.

Students need to ensure they are wearing the correct uniform when playing Touch for King’s. Students must wear:

Juniors (Year 9/10) – King's PE Top and Shorts. Black socks with footwear.

Seniors (Year 11/12/13) – King's Touch uniform collected from Mr Koni and plain black socks with footwear.

· The 9th King's Junior Invitational Touch TournamentOrganised by Mr Koni’s Year 12 Physical Education class, this will take place at King’s No.2 grounds on Friday 26th October. Schools to attend are Otago Boys', Southland Boys', John McGlashan and our two Touch Academy teams.

· Otago Metro Trials on Sunday 28th October at Kensington Oval

Grades are U12 Boys, U14 Boys, U16 Boys and Under 18 boys

This is an open registration, and it is strongly encouraged that all Junior 1st Players and Touch Academy boys to attend the trial.
