The weather has been beautiful this week and that has provided the perfect opportunity for Drama and Maori students to head outside.

In the photo above, the year 10 Māori class are playing a traditional Māori game called ‘maui /matau’ used to enhance agility and speed up reaction time. The warriors must listen to the call and move in the right direction or be eliminated from play. The last man standing is the ‘toa’ or champion.

Meanwhile, Year 10 Drama students have been devising their first pieces of assessment. The task requires them to create a performance using movement and song lyrics.
