Happiness means different things to different people. What exactly does happiness mean to you?

The Benefits of Happiness

· You’ll be more creative

· You’ll persist for longer at a task

· You’ll think in a more optimistic way

· You’ll be less likely to get ill (and bounce back from illness more quickly)

· You’ll be more sociable and helpful with your friends and be trusted more

· You’ll think about yourself less and feel less angry towards others

Flourishing

Experts talk about different concepts of happiness.
There is feeling good, and then there is flourishing.

Feeling good is about positive experiences, positive mindset, positive relationships and positive energy; flourishing is about developing oneself, setting and achieving goals, and making a difference to other people.

Flourishing is like a deeper level of happiness. It has a greater sense of purpose and meaning, and impacts on others and not just yourself.
