AMPED Project supports young performers

Jo Dryden —

Last Saturday, K.H.S Musicians Gregor Clarkson, Josh Tuiavii and Cody Jowsey entertained an appreciative crowd of fans, parents, peers and locals performing a 30 minute gig to at the Crown Hotel as part of the annual AMPED Project.

Amped is a free music mentoring programme suitable for students with experience of performing solo or within a group where AMPED personnel deliver sessions with students on developing skills, confidence and connections to continue performing and participating in the music industry. AMPED receives great support from both national and local industry organisations including Recorded Music NZ, NZ Music Commission, and APRA AMCOS.
