Awesome cultural performances at Otago PolyFest

Jope Tudreu/Kris White —

Two groups from King's High School, He Waka Kōtuia and the combined King’s/Queen’s of the Pacific 'Royals' (pictured) pulled off awesome performances at the Otago PolyFest this week.

The Otago PolyFest event features Maori, Samoan, Tongan Niuean and Cook Island performances of traditional music, dance, and costume. The event is open to secondary and primary school students, as well as early learning centres across Otago. 2022 marks the 29th festival.
