Jo Barnsdale —

The 2022 King's High School Wall of Fame assembly held last Thursday in the school's performing arts centre welcomed five inspirational leaders.

The King's High Wall of Fame Old Boys' for 2022 were as follows:

Ross Black - who set up the Otago Rescue Helicopter and with it the saving of many lives

Ken Graham - who performed NZ's first heart transplant and provided a message for students read by the Rector Nick McIvor

Brendon McCullum - NZ Black Caps legend and current England Cricket Team Coach. He provided a clip/message for the ceremony

Peter Montgomery - the respected Sport Journalist and face and voice of 40 years of NZ America's Cup Yachting

Anthony Simpson - New Zealand Ambassador to Italy who provided a clip/message for the ceremony.

After the citations were read each inductee had prepared inspirational messages for the students. At the end the students performed a spine tingling haka.
