During the September school holidays eight students from around New Zealand travelled to Wellington to take part in the International Geography Olympiad selection day for the 2018 team to Quebec, Canada. 

Four students were selected as the best entries from a nationwide competition for Year 12 Geography students held earlier this year. Keita joins students from Wellington Girls' College, St Cuthbert's College and Otumoetai College in winning a place on this prestigious team.
