Five hundred people crammed into the Taieri College Performing Arts Centre to by wowed by local high school bands. The quality of bands was high across the board, but King's was ably represented by two bands; Sense of Time and CLAM.

The King's Relay teams completed a clean sweep of placings from 1st to 4th at the championships in Dunedin on 18th and 19th June

Level 3 Media Studies students participated in The Outlook for Someday Leaders Filmmaking Workshop on Wednesday.

Exclusive evening for Year 7 and 8 Rugby players being held in the King's High School Performing Arts Centre Foyer.

Last Thursday Year 11 Geographers visited the Oceania Gold Mine in Macraes, Central Otago.

This week an English class took themselves to Rialto to view the new release of Baz Luhrmann’s, Elvis and found plenty to compare to their study of Luhrmann’s, Gatsby.

On Thursday 4th August, Term 3 – Week 2 we are holding our Open Night.

In little over a week King's High School students amassed 1,289 cans for donation to support the Presbyterian Support Otago initiative.

Hone Vivian Kouka MNZM had his name added to the King’s High School Wall of Fame in 2018.
