The first of our Sporting Blues Assemblies was held last Friday where we celebrated the success of students in the Summer sporting codes. Along with several Blues, there were a record 12 Silvers awarded recognising students who performed at National level.

Last Friday, Eric Murray the double Olympic Champion Rower visited King’s High School to speak to secondary students from throughout Otago.

This week we celebrated International Languages Week at King’s, starting off each day with a greeting from another language in our daily notices.

Finn Ward has been selected into the High Performance Sport New Zealand (HPSNZ) 2018/2019 Pathway to Podium (P2P) Programme taking place the end of this week.

Congratulations also to Y9 Oscar Cameron who has been selected in the National U14 Boys Basketball Squad to tour Melbourne from the 7th – 12th of June 2018.
