Year 12 Geography Trip

Year 12 Geography head for the mountains

Two Year 12 Geography classes are completing their research internal at Aoraki Mt Cook National Park this week. The boys were treated to a helicopter flight with a snow landing and a walk up the Hooker Valley Track for lunch at the base of the glacier.

In Year 10 Maths classes this week, students found out how many times an A4 piece of paper can be cut in half. Shane Sreedhar shows his results as the pieces get smaller and smaller with each of his 13 cuts. Try it at home!

It was a windy, cold day down at the Caledonian Grounds for the Logan Park Road Race. The squad (21 runners) arrived in high hopes before Harry Mason, who forgot to bring his gear to race, took them for their warm up and a sensible stretch.
