Participation is at the heart of who we are and what we do at King’s. Participation is high at King’s. It’s also our main focus value this term.

Our King's Lions Senior A Volleyball team had an outstanding weekend. They were unbeaten throughout the Otago Champs and won against OBHS in the final, 3-1. They are now back to back Otago champions. Bring on Nationals! Congrats to the boys making the tournament team.

Rehearsals for the annual Shakespeare Sheilah Winn Festival started last week. This year, Mr McKenzie is directing a dramatic fight scene from "Romeo + Juliet" and, as always, we have a team of dedicated young actors who are determined to win the Otago Competition for the second year in a row.

This year we will be holding Year level assemblies where Deans and Assistant Principals create interesting and useful sessions for students.

Book Gang is underway for the year and, thus far, we have enjoyed several lively sessions of sharing books and ideas for reading.
