George received significant recognition at the Otago/Southland Awards of Excellence 2022 with Surf Life Saving New Zealand.
George Fa'asega was awarded:
1) Rookie Lifeguard of the Year (Cup)
2) Most Promising Junior Lifeguard (Trophy)
George is 13 years old, and his favourite event is the board. He will move up to be a senior next season and is looking forward to being a lifeguard at St Clair Surf Life Saving Club.
A fantastic achievement George, well done.
