Attendance at this year's formal was one of the highest we've seen in recent years. Congratulations to all those on the formal committee and thank you to Dave Ross for his support and organisation.

Nathan Martin made the New Zealand U18 Men’s Team to play in the Australian Interstate Competition in July. This is an impressive result for Nathan and he got here through dedication and commitment. Congratulations.

King's sealed their qualification spot for the National Tournament in Region 8 this week. Their results in qualification were a 3-1 win over Otago Boys' High School, 3-0 win over Wakatipu High School, 7-1 win over Timaru Boys' High School and 11-0 win over Mt Aspiring College.

King's High School Band M.C.S competed at both the Smokefree Rockquest Regional Heats and the Smokefree Tangata Beats Regional Finals.

The Big Sing is New Zealand’s largest choral event and is a highlight for secondary school choirs. This year we took two choirs to the South Canterbury and Otago Regional Festival.
