It's been an interesting start weather-wise for our Year 9 boys this week. Two days of scorching temperatures followed by an early closure due to rain. However, that has not dampened their enthusiasm and excitement.

The first school week of 2018 has been one of meteorological extremes that have taken me way outside my comfort zone. If making the concession that the boys didn’t need to wear their blazers on Wednesday wasn’t hard enough, we then had to conclude school prematurely on Thursday to accommodate the risk of flooding.
